Envirosoil (Remediation) Limited doesn't just talk health and safety -- we actively practise it!
The Company Health & Safety Policy forms the backbone of our corporate culture which ensures that Health and Safety is not a 'bolt-on' extra but a fundamental feature of our day to day activities.
The Safety Director, a member of the main Board of Directors, is qualified to the highest UK and European standards, he is fully supported by his fellow directors and is ably assisted by directly employed Health and Safety Advisors.
Injury, damage or 'near-miss' incidents are controlled to be as low as reasonably practicable.
Job Specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for each project by our Middle Managers and are communicated to our Workforce and Sub-Contractors via our Site Supervisors.
Statement of Intent
Envirosoil (Remediation) Ltd shall ensure that, as far as is reasonably practicable, it will provide for:-
- The Health, Safety, and Welfare of its employees at work.
- The Health and Safety of anyone who may be affected by its work operations.
To achieve this it will, as far as is reasonably practicable, provide:-
- Well maintained equipment and systems of work.
- Suitable well maintained plant
- Suitable arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances.
- Adequate information, instruction, training and supervision.
- Safe premises and work places, including access to and egress from them.
- Safe working environments with adequate welfare facilities.
- Communication and advisory facilities as required.
- Effective monitoring of safety standards.
